Director-General Liu Dianxun Visits the Embassy of People's Republic of China in New Zealand

July 7-9, Director-General Liu Dianxun visited Chargé d'Affaires Ye Su of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in New Zealand and Consul General Chen Shijie of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Auckland, and held working meetings with Canton Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand as well as China Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand, in which he had in-depth exchanges with all parties on the matters related to 2024 New Zealand-China Products Expo.


Liu Dianxun said he hoped to promote bilateral trade through the exhibition and build a platform for enterprises of the two countries to enhance cooperation. The representatives of the Embassy and Consulates in New Zealand said that organizing the exhibition is an important initiative to implement the results of Premier Li Qiang's visit to New Zealand, which will help enhance China-New Zealand economic and trade relations and promote domestic high-quality development and high-level opening up, and that they will cooperate with the preparatory work for the exhibition.


2024 New Zealand-China Porducts Expo will be held from September 20 to 22 at Auckland Showgrounds in Auckland. It will focus on building materials, food, home furnishings, textiles, digital products, cross-border e-commerce and other areas.
