China Southern Airlines is an airline company controlled by China Southern Air Holding Company. The headquarters is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The airline has achieved 30 million consecutive safe flight hours and in 2023 became the first in the industry to receive the "Civil Aviation Flight Safety Diamond Three-Star Award" from the Civil Aviation Administration of China. In 2021, it was awarded the highest-level "Seven-Star Safety Rating" by the independent international aviation rating website, AirlineRatings.com. As of December 2023, the airline operates a fleet of 908 passenger and cargo aircraft, ensuring 290 consecutive months of flight safety and 355 months of aviation security. The company is committed to building two comprehensive international aviation hubs in Guangzhou and Beijing. In Guangzhou, it continues to steadily develop the "Canton Route," positioning Guangzhou as the primary gateway from mainland China to Oceania and Southeast Asia, serving the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative. In Beijing, as the largest main base airline at Beijing Daxing International Airport, it operates the largest hangar in Asia, the largest operation control center in Asia, and an aviation food production base.
